Gino's East of Chicago in Lake Geneva

Gino’s East is the original Chicago-style deep dish pizza. In 1966, two Chicago cab drivers, Fred Bartoli and Sam T. Levine, had a dream to create a new pizza that combined their favorite old-world recipes in a deep golden pie-like crust. They opened Gino’s East in a cozy old brownstone just off Michigan Avenue on Superior Street. Word spread, people began lining up, and the rest is history.

In 2007, Gino’s East opened in Lake Geneva, with the same original deep dish pizza …and more!
